"The staff was rude at check in. She seemed insulted that we used a vocher though it went smoothly and se never questioned it's use. The valets were slow. Example we waited 15 minitues for our car when it was parked 20 feet away from us and the only people using the valet. When we asked if we could park and retrieve our own car as not to have to wait. The first valet said that would be fine. On our return to the hotel the 2nd valet was insulting using legal terms he obviously didn't understand. He told us we had to park in the last space of the parking lot. There is a $16/day parking fee, which we paid. We parked in the last space though, the lot was maybe only 1/4 full. There was black mold in the shower. The lamp shade was melted and only one out of three table lamps worked. Good things: The bartender was nice and made a great drink. The room decor was up to date and the hotel was over all clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Interestingly, the pool was in the middle of the parking lot. It was clean with tropical plantings and a wall around it. The grounds were well maintained. Our ocean view room had a balcony that was shared with the room next door. The ocean could indeed be viewed if I stood on the balcony and leaned out over the rail. I am 5'9" tall. We were in Palm Beach for a wedding and did not spend much time in the hotel. The room was fine for sleeping in. Palm beach was beautiful. I would consider returning on vacation however, I would stay in a different hotel. I would use FreeHotelGuide.com again. Thank You."
